    I think if you run into other pirates but need help with a voyage or just want to have a bigger crew you should be able to sign a contract with said pirates and when you turn in a chest that crew get an agreed percent of the loot so if you agreed to do 50/50 you and them would split the gold and rep but you could also decide on a different percent for the rep in case for example you need rep but your teamed with pirate legends who just need gold

    Oh that sound like a nice idea, i always thought we are missing tools to gather people and have fun with other crews, i had a few experience playing with a galleon and a sloop or sloop x2 but the game isn't designed to make this kind of thing fun and it's quite sad.

    And contracts would low the amount of PvP for players who hate PvP but just love sailing the seas but wouldn't get rid of it for players who love it and in fact make PvP more interesting also allow for so many more adventures
