BEST way to transfer loot to the outpost!

  • With the recent shark attacks I can't even touch the water without 10 sharks attacking me so I got creative with the loot transfer process! 10/10 :p

  • @abysswalkerpts Thanks for the tip, will save me quite some time!

  • lol do a barrel roll

  • After playing for a while...as much as an immersion killer it is and how unrealistic and non Piratey as it may be.

It has diffidently become clear to me that ramming the island at top speed and fixing the holes is a much quicker more efficient way to dock then the whole "Raise Front sails" and park for 5 minutes.

  • @glannigan come in hot and drop anchor with the front at the dock is my favorite. Saves time

  • We take our time to dock properly since my crew takes pride in perfect docking skills. The only time we slam into the beach is if we are being tailed and we have enough treasure to get it all sold in one go.

If not, then we just make high speed passes until it's all unloaded up. Even though the sharks now can sometimes make that impossible if we don't pass close enough to the island

But I will say, idk if it's just a pet peeve of mine and I know that due to the damage mechanics it's far more time effecient. But NOTHING irritates me more than joining a random crew who's sailing culture is..
    INTENTIONALLY
    CRASH
    EVERY
    TIME
they reach an island, just because it's "too slow" to do so gracefully.

I guess docking your boat to me is like using proper grammar and spelling. It's not necessary to get your point across, and it's arguably FAR more time efficient to write like a p*****n texting during the old flip phone days than it is to write everything out fully.
However, if you do so, don't expect me to every carry out a conversation with you over text, ever. In the case of Sea of thieves, I will continue to sail with pirates who pride themselves in sailing and looting with style, not high-speed crash and cash. Have some class.

Anyway, awesome trick! Didn't know chests had that kind of interaction with the sloped side of the ship. Wondering if it'd work the same way with Gunpowder barrels..

Very interesting indeed! I can see this collision behaviour being patched though, seeing as chests can also ‘stick’ on cliff surfaces when being dropped vertically and sometimes they become inaccessible.

I also wonder, how far will the chests travel if they don’t meet shallow waters?

Maybe i’ll see a chest flailing away in open water, wouldn’t that be a sight!

Had a bit of a chuckle re: whether it would work with gunpowder - Joking or otherwise I feel it would have disastrous consequences but there’s really only one way to find out!

I don’t feel that it would have the same effect as this sideboard/chest collision discovery though because I once dropped one of our extra barrels for cash-in off the plank a little too soon and it exploded when it scraped the side of the ship.

Great find though and definitely an effective technique in this new and dangerous era we find ourselves in!

  • Gooood job matieessss!!!! yarrrrrr!
