snipers oneshot
I was gonna make my own thread about this very subject, so I'll just add on to it here. There has been a few times now that I was at full health, and got sniped with one shot. I didn't know that was even possible, if it is I would like someone to clarify.
However, I noticed that after they adjusted the damage of the weapons, BECAUSE of everyone just using the blunderbuss before, now gave us the reverse effect. I rarely ever see anyone use the blunderbuss now (including myself), and it's moved to using the Eye-of-Reach or the flintlock. The meta has gone from getting super close and blasting at point blank, to a sniper fest.
I'm not terrible at the sniping, I've killed quite a few with it. But I'm not quite fond of this new way of combat in all honesty. I would like to see more of a balance between all weapon types if possible. Maybe lowering the Eye-of-Reach damage a little just so it doesn't kill in a single shot would be nice.
That's actually happened to me a couple times now. On the reverse end. I'll pop out the sniper rifle, take aim at an enemy that, to my knowledge, was at full health and Boom! One hit one kills. One was on a ladder and the other was during ship combat. So I don't know if they had been previously damaged or what but I know my crew or I didn't hurt them before the fatal shot.
