When im sailing the ship and the wheel goes dead centre the controller will vibrate and the game will make a weird noise. Also when im digging up chests the game makes a similar weird noise. The game never used to do it and I cant find a way to turn it off it drives me mad please help.

I don't think it's the game. It sounds more like your console might be developing a problem.

I have had issues where certain sounds will keep playing. I have had the grinding noise of the boat grinding on a sandbar play endlessly even though I was not on a sandbar. I think some of this stuff was mentioned in the upcoming patch.
Eating bananas is effing disgusting and hardcore sets me off. Of I could hit whoever created those sounds I would. I'd feel bad about it.. but man... I absolutely hate it.
I wear a headset. I talk to people. I get to enjoy the ridiculous horrific sounds if some dummy eating bananas directly into my ears. The sound of the swallowing it straight down their throat, and literally crunching on it.
