My crew and I had no intentions of fighting you, but once one of your crew members decided to attack us on the beach while we tried to gather our chickens we couldn't let it go unpunished. The kraken who snared your ship just outside of Smuggler's Bay sealed the deal, so we attacked.
I do feel (slightly) guilty for boarding your ship and annihilating your entire crew, but sometimes not attacking random pirates & ships is just better for your health (and your coin purse).
