Yup, otherwise they would have put the codes inside the bag.
@awesomecoreusa Well, that backfired. If the codes were on the inside they probably would have sold more.
@awesomecoreusa I bought a pack but they only had the codes on the type of cookies that I dislike. Had they had some with codes on other types, I probably would have bought more.
I bought mine. Two codes worked, two codes did not. It took me days and several emails back and forth to get it worked out. If that many people are thieving codes from the bags then I guess that's a sign there are a lot of people playing the game enough to want the codes. Not that I was happy to go through the hassle.

Not at all. Just means that players who want free xbox live and game pass knew where to get them.
I got 5 free days of both and some onyx thing that I have yet to find in game...@ravadosh make friends with a yank an' ask them to buy you some cookies an' send the code. I have it on good authority cough that ye can still unlock them.

Aye I been discussing financing one of me 'merican friends to buy a whole bunch of them and send 'em to good ol' Norway ;)
But on a more serious note though, a bit sad that the European market didn't get any of these similar deals going, probably has to do with some laws here..

To be fair, I haven't looked very hard...
I have 500k and have only bought an eyepatch and a hook... I don't care about cosmetics, I just like the game (and cookies).@ravadosh perhaps. I know not the logistics. But I agree, it no be fair on those who sail in other countries. If I had the disposable income I would shower ye all in codes.

If you read carefully it says that for the sweepstakes (Xbox one x and controllers) no purchase necessary. But for the "offer" (DLC, Xbox live, games pass codes), a purchase is necessary. So yes it is against the rules to steal the codes off the bags. Pirates in real life be punished 😜

@awesomecoreusa you'd have to go to the official rules link at the bottom. They put that no purchase necessary there to avoid issues with the sweepstakes.

I went to the store and bought 6 more lol
I figured it was cheaper than paying for the game pass and xbox live, but the second code didn't give me xbox live...
Oh well, at least I have plenty of cookies to eat!@that-vegan-guy Nah, they stopped that. There was a cool-down but after it became clear Reddit be full o' code shares they disabled the cool down.

That's no purchase necessary for the sweepstakes, not redeeming the code. Go read the official rules.
