Greetings, me lads and lasses!
What's the tale of today. you ask? Well, today is fleet day. Me and me little fleet tried to come up with ways to bring at least two ships on the same server and that we managed to do, eventually!
It all started on the mighty Howling Night Galleon, where I was sailing together with @AwesomeAnon , @Tratog2829 and @AdmiralF0x13 . We decided that the seas were ours and upon seeing other ships freely sail on our seas we had to intervene.
Thus, we started pulling people over and have a little talk with them. Needles to say, there were some that were reluctant to cooperate and had to be .... persuaded in order to understand how much we loved them.
Two ships we pulled over and made to realize that for them to safely travel up and down our oceans, a tax had to be paid. They were more than happy to provide assistance to the grater good of the economy; honestly, I really don't think that having 3 cannons pointed at their lower deck and a blunderbuss aimed at their head had anything to do with their desire to part with some of their resources and treasure.
Now, a third sloop passed our way and upon calmly landing at an inactive fort we decided to explain to him the rules and requirements for sailing on our seas. He was from a foreign land, for his understanding of our agreement was not entirely ... understandable. Upon deducting, from his conversation with us, it was clear that he wanted to sail freely, without paying any taxes.
You need to understand that we don't want to do this, we don't like to do this, but me and my crew have families to feed and children to raise! We allowed him to take some time off on the Ferry of Word That Cannot Be Said on here, to think it through. After coming back, this gentleman ... for I cannot call him otherwise, decided to address me mom with some really kind and sweet words. It warms my heart when someone uses such beautiful words to convey their undying love for me mom. Thus, we sent him again to visit the ghostly captain of the set place, in order for him to write a love poem to me mom.
Now, he came back to us, with this lovely poem, but his ship had already too many holes from the inactive fort that fired upon him. We tried to explain that the fort didn't like that he didn't write a love letter for it too.
Forth and final sloop, god bless his soul, was a lovely pirate, named "mjpiratewhyman". We came to an agreement for him to allow us to commandeer his ship for our fleet. Thus, i took control of it and got one of me lads with me, @Hbnumbertwo, while the trusty quartermaster, @Ortomith joined the Galleon.
Now, upon deliberating what was to come next, we decided to have the Gally do Order of Souls, due to the strength it had, while the Sloopy was bound to unearth the riches that the Gold Hoarder had!
Thus, we slowly set sail into the red night, for hopes of finding treasures and unravel long forgotten mysteries! But, there were those who conspired behind our backs. Little did we know that a new crew had gotten together to stand against us...
But, little did they know that once attacking our Gally, the Sloopy would hear its call to arms! We wasted not a moment and sailed to aid our big brother and as the sun shone bright, their Galleon ceased to see the light.
There comes a time when after a long an' fruitful pirate life, one should put his flintlock down and pass it to someone else. Thus, the sloop found itself in the hands of @Gartunkel and @CaptainPheebs, who has not an account on here! This was the moment when I knew that the fleet would continue safely without me!
