Have ye every tried being friendly to another crew only to have ye bow filled with holes from paranoid cannon fire? Ever thought... if only that other sloop would work with me against the gallion and we could split the skull fort's prize? Or... how a pair of galleons could dominate the sea? Only a lucky few have found out what this feels like as the sea of thieves is a shoot first ask questions later sort of place. But what if there was a place where ye couldn't shoot? A place where pirates can meet and develop relations before adventuring? Obviously no treasure can be brought here to avoid it becoming a place cowardly crews wait out danger instead of fighting but instead a place where no cannon, boomstick or cutlass can be drawn? Crews can then plan voyages and pillaging raids with less mistrust of their fellow pirate. Maybe even a tavern in which after a few too many grogs ye can fight the old fashioned drunk pirate way? What say ye?

Safe zones seem like the kind of thing people would run to when they're beaten and then taunt you like they've somehow outplayed you
There are a lot of people that agree with you. These threads pop up very often. And then they fill up with people that will tell you that you're playing the game wrong and that RARE "Has already said they will NEVER do this"
