Has anyone else experienced super lag when close to “certain” other players?

    So lately I noticed an ugly trend of really bad lag when around certain other players on a different crew. I say “certain” players because it only happens around some players, not all. I’ve tested this by sailing close to other ships in my lobby and when I notice the lag, I’ll sail away....find and approach a different ship, commonly(99%) find no lag...then sail back to the laggy one and again find lag. I am suspicious of this🤨. Has anyone else noticed this? I use it as a tool to identify that an opponent is close and leave the area ASAP!

    Please up-vote this if you feel this issue needs to be addressed! It is game breaking for me!

    I ALWAYS get lag when there are PC players near me in a server.

    Is there a setting that will reduce this effect I’m unaware of?

    @surum sometimes, but not that bad and just 2-3 short lags than it's ok again
    Most times i have the standard-equipment on my character a few seconds when i come near other players (near means about 400-500 meters), not the clothes but weapons, compass etc

    I get unplayable lag spikes when around these players.

    That and oddly enough i get lag spikes when i’m at a certain part/area of the ship as well.
    Happened to me just yesterday.

    @surum Not so much near other players but I am forever rubber-banding when trying to go up or down stairs on the ship, both sloop or galleon.

    @surum oh yeah, I've met this bug so many times. My game freezes a few seconds till I discover I'm far away in the water or killed. It always happens when another crew is near me and we are fighting. How many times I'm just hearing my ship sinking and I'm just stuck :( after that my game is really unplayable, I have to restart it. And I don't think it's from my internet connection because some people of my crew experienced it at the same time! Hope it get fixed soon.
