I have two GTX970 video cards in SLI, and only one of them is used for the game ... Will there be an update soon? We are currently in May, so it would be nice to take full advantage of our experience in the coming days ...

Don't hold your breath man. Most gaming companies now, hardly ever bother with SLI. I just bought a GTX 1080 ti FTW3 for that very reason. I also have two 970's and got tired seeing new games coming out with no support. Done with SLI personally.
This. I used to be an AMD guy and ran several iterations of cards in crossfire but I got tired of finally getting multi-gpu patches and support weeks after I finished a game. You're better off spending the money for the second card on other things and just getting one ultra high-end GPU, water-cooling and overclocking it.
