Hi all,
Really loving the new patch but as for the new imperial sovereign customisations, the patch has only fixed 20% of them. Imperial sovereign eye of reach, pistol, blunderbuss, sails and hull are all available now but there’s no imperial sovereign cutlass, figurehead and no equipment whatsoever.
Again, love the new patch but just addressing this minor issue.
@urihamrayne perhaps, but it doesn’t explain why I can’t buy a twinkling purple bucket or spy glass.
I’d be happy with spending 70k on the imperial sovereign version of the figurehead, even if it just meant the eyes on the lion were purple instead. Same goes for the imperial version of the cutlass, purple handle.. I’ll buy it, ha!

I agree with that too. From my perspective though, I've already invested everything into getting full Royal Sovereign, so by buying Imperial sovereign it would feel like walking backwards on my quest to save up for the Pirate Legend things. This Imperial Sovereign issue probably impacts newer players more though, who haven't maxed out Gold Hoarders yet. The Imperial Sovereign requires no level progression and it's much cheaper than Royal Sovereign.
@bearcubbin yeah I get where you’re coming from and I agree totally. I’m level 43 GH so I’ll be using imperial hull and sails until I max out. I’ve got the majority of the royal sovereign clothes and equipment but since the last patch I’ve been rocking some of the imperial clothes.
Maybe I’m just over egging the issue but I personally was really looking forward to grabbing some of the imperial equipment haha!
As for the cutlass and figurehead like I said in a comment above, I’d have bought those as well!

Nothing wrong with a new look in a game that takes DAYS to unlock something new in your faction of choice :) I get that too.

Well that's not really fair. the imperial cutlass wasn't even on the list in that thread.
The admiral cutlass however was...I was saving for it.
@blindnev that’s exactly what I’m saying! They removed it before they even added.. imperial cutlass and figurehead weren’t available to purchase in the first place!
The Imperial Sovereign Cutlas and Figurehead never made it into the game.
The rest of the items on the list are being removed on the 22nd of May.
I’m absolutely fuming about it to be honest.
For starters there is no reason to remove the items that were put into the game.
Players asked for better items, and Rares response should be ‘yes we agree’ - not ‘let’s remove them then’.
I’ve saved up for all the items that are being removed.
But I will NEVER own the full Imperial Sov set because it was simply never added to the game.
The way they are approaching this is absolutely rediculous...
@blindnev the imperial sovereign cutlass and figurehead never made it into the 1.0.6 patch due to a mistake THEY made. Now they’ve fixed that mistake but haven’t introduced the imperial cutlass or figurehead.. they’ve removed it before it was even added.. not fair at all
@ellundel-psn I completely agree with you my friend, it’s disapointing to say the least. I booted my game up when the patch notes were released purely for the imperial sovereign hull, sails, figurehead, cutlass and equipment. Figurehead, cutlass and equipment are missing..
@mad-ragga-luke well the equipment is not surprising. They didn’t add any equipment for any of the other new sets either.
And I’m ok with this.
If you’re not going to add any then that’s fine.
I’m sure we will get some new equipment later on at some stage, especially with hungering deep and the later updates.
But the sword and the figurehead are a different matter.
I want those items.
I’m saving gold FOR those items.
And due to a mistake on Rates part the previous week, anyone who feels the same way will NEVER have the chance to obtain them, even though we all know they are sitting there ready to be implemented...
@needsmokes Not yet, the items don’t get removed till the 22nd. We have a full week now with improved gold income from higher level quests to farm the money for these items.
Our point is that the sovereign set items NEVER got implemented in the first place. So Sovereign players had no chance of obtaining these items at all.
@ellundel-psn There was no ruffian sea dog items either. No equipment, weapons or musical devices. There was only the clothing and the 3 ship design options, which are great, although the ships hull is only decorated on one side currently.
