Hi there, I'm new in the game, and I discovered I don't receive text chats and voice chats from players? My friends do, but not me? I receive absolutely nothing? Is this a bug or something that is somehow disabled on my profile? I just got the game??
I do however receive the "g" chat commands, like "Aye", "Ahoy" and etc lol

@sir-lotus I belive my account might be a child account (Im 18 so its annoying lol), or at least it displays "child's xbox" everywhere. I cant see the same as you. My account is nor connected to any family? I dont get it.. Even my bithday is set to back in 1996, so i mean?

Well, I believe I fixed it.
This took way too long! On the positive side, this isn't Sea of Thieves fault! Simply Microsoft's. I can't believe how complicated this had to be. Simply, my account was registed as a child account (It doesn't really display that anywhere, but on most pages, it says something about children for some reason). So i had to create an alternative account, make that account as "parent". When I then logged in on that alt account, it said that my main also was a parent all of the sudden... -.-
So basically, i had to have a "parent" to become a parent myself? I still don't get it, but that's how I made it work. I couldn't find anything else on this, so hopefully, this might help somebody in the future! It was to be honest, a little bit a pain in the a*s, especially the fact that I'm not a child haha, even my registered birthday was saying i was 21 (Im 18, but it was still registered that).
