Skeletons not spawning properly... Still.

  • Since launch the game has had problems with skeletons not spawning in or spawning in only to be inside of walls/rocks.

    Today on the last part of a Legend voyage we has a skull bounty on Plunder Valley. 4 Captains and then we would get our Legend chest. When we arrived we heard the music but after searching turned up nothing so we decided to suicide reset. Three resets later and still no skeletons. So we try driving away and coming back a few times... still nothing.

    So this leads me to believe that this still isn't fixed from launch. And it's disappointing seeing as you're working on things like hand another person bananas instead of fixing a game interrupting/breaking bug. The inability to finish voyages is a major issue and deserves more attention that banana passing.

    Will this ever get fixed? You stated you were looking into it a month ago but nothing since.

    " Bounty Quest Skeletons failed to spawn correctly.
    We have been resolving these spawning issues across the last 2 updates (1.0.3, 1.0.4), however with this update (1.0.5) we have now resolved all known reported spawning issues. If you find any further problem islands, please log a Support Ticket noting the island and we will investigate further."

    so if you've encountered it, report it.

  • @bloodfrenzy187 i've never seen a game released without any bugs. Including Minesweeper in Windows.

  • @sir-lotus I agree, games have bugs at launch. But you yourself stated they claimed that the bug was fixed. And for the price of the game I shouldn't have to do bug reporting for them.

    If they needed more time to fix things this should have released as a preview title instead. But what we got was the new age "games as a service" model where they make loads of promises. Then for the price of a AAA game we get to wait and see what actually happens.

    Am I saying they won't deliver in the end? No. But thus far the ride has been far from flawless.

  • @bloodfrenzy187 I get your point, but I've also bought Daggerfall when it came out back in the 90s for a similar price. That game couldn't be beaten without patches. So my view on bugs is a bit different since then.

    so congrats, looks like you've found a new one. :) When I see a bug, I report it, it looks like they're trying to fix them. (which is honestly more than some other developers do) It doesn't cost me anything to do so and it helps us all, I see no reason why not to do it.

    Aye. If they want us to report this garbage then they need to add an in-game reporting system.

    Damned game takes too long already without wasting even more time going to a different site and going through the hassle of filing a support ticket.
