So, I have been finding a lot of empty shipwrecks lately, some of them spawned as I was on an island with no ships around to loot them before I could get there, and yet they had no loot in them.
I have also had the experience of seeing something glowing waaaaaaaay down in the water directly below the shipwrecks.
Is there a bug where the loot spawns at the bottom of the ocean instead of inside the ships?

As it’s basically the only thing we can interact with in the water (not including sailing and fighting on it) I love a shipwreck.
I always thought a shipwreck’s loot was random - including nothing on it at all. I’ve had similar experiences when I’ve watched one spawn with nothing on it and just put it down to RNG.
Haven’t seen anything glinting below one before. Perhaps a newly spawned empty wreck is indeed a bug.
@tyburn-ketch So did I, until I noticed the glow. I figured it was a Villinous Skull that had spawned down there. One of the crew tried to swim down to get it, but it was too far down to get too before drowning or getting eaten by sharks.
So, I had to ask if anyone else have experienced this, or at least get them to check it out next time they find an empty wreck.
