First of all and most importantly awesome job on the game!! I'm 50 years old been around for a few consoles (atari/intellivision)and pc games. I also own and sail a boat in the San Francisco,Ca. Bay area. I play almost entirely solo, and I LOVE this game. My one complaint would be that getting shot by skeletons through my boat hull and/or mast or barrels of cannonballs and rocks while trying to take cover is extremely discouraging. It quickly turns my immersive beautiful sailing Adventure/experience into just another button mashing time-wasting video game. After all the time and effort and money I'm sure rare and Microsoft have put into this game.. would be a horrible waste not to fix this one unbelievable issue.
Ok, back to what really matters seriously really really really good job the game is great and lots of fun. I'd like to fly some Viking sails..you know red and white vertical striped and how about a helmet with horns and while you're at it a broadsword..? Doesn't seem too much to ask really since you've got a Spanish conquistador in there.

@bjornt-romdasea Sorry to ruin your day, but Vikings didn't have horned helmets. Nor did they have shields on the side of their ships(Just in case you were going to ask for that too).
Just wanted to mention it =)Lol It's funny how much "hollywood history" things people believe are true. Vikings were warrior that relied on all their equipment, They aren't about to throw away a perfectly good shield over the side of the ship lol.
@xcalypt0x I said I was sorry =P
@Ve111a Yeah, but you have to admit Hollywood puts the Vikings in a much better light than they should.
Considering they were Pirates, Raiders and big into Slavery =P@danish-crusader said in Viking sails:

The first season of Histories Vikings while I’m sure isn’t that accurate, was very entertaining and didn’t shy away from topics like slavery or other taboo subjects, though I’m sure they could have gone deeper into those aspects of viking life, they just tried to show you their perspective. They would rather die than become a slave for example, so seeing somebody willing to surrender and then further willing to work for their captor to keep eating but still be a slave, just didn’t make sense to them. I like how it tried to show their perspective rather than just make it all violent and trying to glorify that, which is what the other seasons turned into.
The first season was amazing though, and the Ragnar and Bjorn parts of the story up until his death.

Just wanted to mention it =)But shields on the side seems like such a good idea! Out of the way on a cramped longship. Extra protection from arrows while you're rowing. Whereas horns on helmets just seem like a handle for the enemy. I bet the vikings WOULD have put their shields on the side of the ship had they considered the idea. =)

lol They stowed them or wore them on their back for easy access.
