Message to all legendary pirates

  • @nikinjapan i am legendary and i dont afk with randoms i like fights pvp fights not mindless grind

  • Pirate Legend can be confusing. Most think just cause someone is one that they're AUTO good or a mature/polite player. This couldnt be further from the truth! PL only means the person has dedicated LOADS of time to the game and doesnt account for any skill. Now I do believe "MOST" of the PL's will be somewhat decent at the game.

  • I have seen more non pirate legends afk than pirate legends. It is overall better play solo than random crew. Random crew have 90%+ chance you have to find another crew.

  • I joined a galleon with two AFK founders/legends. Thought I'd have a great crew, but alas...

  • I have only played with 2 legends and they were both good guys that held their own.

Well, you were a Legend before the game even launched Katt. There's a video on Youtube where Sean-friggin'-Astin literally tells the whole wide world about your name and legend.
I could slay 100 Krakens with naught but a rusty cutlass and my wit, and that still wouldn't be anywhere near as Legendary as that.

On topic; I think we're currently at a very specific point in Sea of Thieves lifetime where most Legends got there through excessive, and persistent grinding. I've only met a couple of Legends in game so far, both were far from paragons of Piracy. One was a ship me, and me boson encountered, and endeavoured to sink. We stole some of their loot, killed half of 'em and sunk them at an Outpost.
The other was a random who joined my Galleon crew, very insistently threw down a Legend voyage, then proceeded to sit on the bowspit quite happily as I had to guide my crew through this silly long Voyage. After the first island he was quite happy to simply sit in the Ferry of the Damned as we toiled on his behalf.

We cashed in what we had, and left him to rot in the afterlife.

The players who've simply forced their way to Legend often completely miss the point of the game, and the results are the complaints we see here; Players who cannot, or will not engage with other players in the game, as intended.

But as the more regular players start to get there as well, I'm sure the reputation of Legends will see a surge in popularity, when that title and status isn't exclusive to the most hardcore of grinders.
