XBOX One version

  • IMHO the XBOX one controls are not fluid especially when in combat and I would love to play it on my PC instead but its frustrating that I cant do that, I can stream my XBOX One to my PC and play with the controller but not with mouse and keyboard so I loose out every time to PC playing pirates who have more fluid controls with mouse and keyboard.

Would be nice to be able to play local and be on the ship with my wife as she prefers xbox and not have to buy the whole game again but I guess chances of that are low.

Any chance if an xbox one player fights a pc player that some handicap be applied to make it more a fair fight. Not really I suppose.

No chance. The gap isn't as bad as people make it to be. They won't handicap people for playing on a specific console. On yourpc you should be able to play it as well though isn't it cross system? Buy one buy for all?

  • Get yourself a scuf with some kontrol freeks and practice. Asking for devs to handicap people because a skill level isn't there is no bueno.

  • @ve111a for play anywhere to work he would have had to buy the game via digital or game pass then use the family share to play at the same time

well to at least play on the pc instead it might help him.

  • @robtinbc I was thinking about it and would be nice to have the ability if you buy the xbox one version to install a PC client but only on the same IP as the XBOX one is on, that would then allow for family or friends to come together in one location and play on a ship, encourage community gaming with real people!! ;)

  • @robtinbc You should be able to play your copy of the game with two people one Xbox one on PC, the play anywhere thing should enable it.

    Steps to take:

    • Download the game through the windows store (signed into your xbox microsoft account) onto your pc
    • Set your xbox as your home xbox
    • turn off automatic streaming options through the xbox app as they'll boot whoever's playing on the xbox out every time you boot up the game.
    • boot into both games using your respective accounts.
    • Person on the pc has to do the inviting since for some reason the invites never seem to arrive in the xbox app.
    • Alternately the pc xbox app will allow you to just bust into someones game without their consent using the join game function in their profile.
  • The sensitivity is TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE. Allowing ADS adjustments on pc was a great idea, not bringing those changes to xbox was not such a great idea. Xbox needs sensitivity increased to at least twice the speed of the current maximum and we need a second sensitivity slider for ads sensitivity.

I just loaded up the game to do a quick test. At 100% sensitivity, it takes about 5 seconds to turn a full 360 while aiming a pistol and about 20 seconds to turn 360 while aiming the sniper.

  • The control capabilities of K&M vs Controller are not game breaking in sea of thieves. I suggest you remap your jump button to rb on your controller so you can jump and aim at the same time.

What are the sensitivity differences between K&M vs Controller?

  • @ve111a It is cross system if you didnt bought a disk ... if you bought the game digital then you can play PC or Xbox as you see fit on the same account
