Is it just me or is it too easy to sneak on someone's boat with or without a barrel of gunpowder to blow it up. Even if you try to prevent this you cant shoot or slash them as you'll blow urself your teammates and your boat along with it.
I am tired of getting killed by enemies I cant hear not only this but I found people using this cheesy tactic of the boat driving away then some teammates jumping in the water ready to climb on our ship

I am sick and tired of having to stare at the climbing ladder waiting to shoot them... when I picture a boat battle I don't expect this to happen it's not fun
-they should make it where if the boat is moving and you try to climb on board it makes a noise

I don't hate this suggestion. But I must remark as above. There really are plenty of warnings, swimming sounds, ladder grab splash, etc.
If your on Xbox using an audio setup not associated with headphones you really are going to miss alot of cues. Background noise alone, in my home, would render me incapable of observing even the most obvious of sound cues. I rely on a headset just because my kids never shut up! lol.
I would like to hear footsteps volume increased in general though. Specifically be directional as well if it's not. Would be of use when respawning in after a death or whatever, to hear indication such as "are the above? Below? what direction?" based on movement.
Because I have to admit, even I have been surprised in the past.

@rattlyfob aww thank for the help there, you make sooo much sense the way you explain things reall gets to mee wow the in-depth detailed description you gave me really clears things up wow couldn't have found this out without your specialities really you are a life saver
If you want an actual explination as to how to hear it easier, turn the volume up, turn the music down, or get headphones. The bottom line is you can hear the footsteps even with normal settings and without headphones but you need to listen to the audio cues...
