I would love for one safe zone in the game. One, no loot allowed here, safe zone, but to stay here you have to pay up. I would love for them to put a casino in the game where players could go to gamble their way into infamy. Achievements, gear, items, and other un-lockables could all be made for it. I would love to see some classic dice games etc here. Any other ideas you can think of to add to this my fellow scallywags?

@rackthor my preferred idea for this is a sort of pregame lobby on a big island where you can interact, gamble gold, and look for potential crew mates before setting sail. It would not be part of the main map and would have a high player count.
