I was in my sloop looking to level up my merchant quests solo and carelessly pulled into island too fast.
Next moment my ship collides into the island and I'm maniacally trying to repair the damage. A thunder strike bears down on front hull and another hole broke through. The ship collides again into the island, me being stupid, forgot the raise the sail after first collision. So I race to the top deck to get the sail up when I see behind me another sloop. You can tell this sloop crew was one of THOSE crews and they rushed in front my back side hoping to take me down.
At this point I'm still on the wheel but now I'm cussing irl from the sloop rushing into me, the storm roaring above and still the ship was stuck on the beach again and my compass/wheel spin in a maddening matter.
This was within five minutes of my voyage.
Needless to say I escaped and was harassed for quite some time from the sloop, although I make decisions that lead to bad outcomes I still could tell these players where new. So I took them out of the map, into the red sea and sunk us both.
