I can buy the Xbox version on Amazon for $63. It's $79.99!!! ON THE XBOX STORE! Why the hell do I have to pay a extra $16. 99! For less! No physical copy. Seriously why?!?

@augunslingin Well I paid for Windows. I mean, you pay MS for something that we get free. You don't get anything special for XBL. Also, it's not like you are just paying 9.99 per month that goes directly to Rare to fund this game. You pay it as a tax to MS to play games online. They just don't charge us because they know we would never pay it. Look at games that are released on both Steam and on XBL. You can't play them online without paying, whereas we can. You don't get a better service than we do, it's the exact same thing.
Well real talk, anything coming off the Microsoft store is going to be full price. Check Cdkeys, or other online retailers for digital media.
Xbox runs specials and deals often to drive up console purchases, that's where their major marketing ploys are placed. In other words, you're shopping in the wrong spot.

the price you paid is the correct price the game costs. I bought my Xbox version digitally and paid the same as you. Are you referring to the cost of a physical copy of the game? If so then where have you been this generation?
All physical copies drop in price faster than digital. Stores and companies like to clear some stock post-launch, especially if it isn't selling as fast as they had hoped. With the game being play anywhere and available via gamepass then it's no surprise that amazon in this example would have surplus stock.

@static-tattoo Im not sure whay they bumped the price. I Pre ordered the digital for only 59.99 USD. And i pay for 3 month subscriptoin for xbox live in order to play crossplatfrom with my roomate.
@tornado-hunter1 I was able to get it on Amazon for $41 because of a pre-order offer. I am thinking that I am going to start doing that even though I have had a great experience with Gamestop (aside from their trade-in values....)
