I think that adding custom flags in Sea of Thieves would be an amazing addition. I think that if they were to be added to SOT it should be done like how fortnite does their custom emblems. You choose an emblem and you choose a color and that's about it. I'd love for it to be more customizable but I'm afraid that if it was we'd see some pretty lewd stuff out on the seas (much like COD). Maybe as you progress through the ranks of the trading companies you can unlock more and more emblems and colors for your flag. These emblems could also be rewards for weekly events as well.
Custom Flags
@getschmiton I think it would be nice if the flag automatically conveyed your intent, much like flags would have done in the 'real' world of pirating.
If you like to go around sinking other ships for no reason, other players should at least have some kind of warning in order to prepare.
This game is constantly billed as a social multi-player game, but it becomes the complete opposite if you have to run from every ship you see because you have some cargo you do not want to lose onboard!@xgodkevin

@getschmiton does fortnite allow you to move, rotate scale their shapes? I don't know as I don't at that game. Never liked it. If you can do those things then people will find creative ways to make lewd flags. If you cannot do those things then my mistake on my original reply.
