We sunk a Galleon and before the caes even surfaced all of the animals were already drowned. Its pretty dumb that they cant survive until the surface...
Animals drown TOO FAST!!!
@xxsearidersxx several factors are possibly at play here, if they were stored below deck they drown as the ship sinks and as the above poster mentioned they could of died in combat. I have had several experiences where I was surprised the animals had not yet drowned and were floating in the water.
@rayfromjersey Yes we are sure. Our guy said they were in the nose cone of the ship. all of my shots hit the Aft section. No way of them hitting past the map table.
@senilegold they should try to see if they can add in a small feature so that they stop drowning once the Ship sunk Gong goes off. because it kinda gyps you of your hard earned loot
@xxsearidersxx I once got "blind-sided" and sunk. No one on ship all doing missions we had many animals and kegs no real treasure so to prevent any reward to our foes I used my bullets to kill myself and all animals with a barrel leaving them the empty cages and my semblance of satisfaction.
@senilegold Nah i know it was the ship sank, no one attempted to kill them, they just drowned before surfacing
@xxsearidersxx Does that mean that animals drown too fast though, they aren't treasure and die to 2 sword lunges they are pretty hardy and only worth good money with a mission. I do like free chickens and snakes too but think you might be jumping the gun with your conclusion.
@xxsearidersxx I'll be completely honest with you I think chickens are the only animals that are susceptible to drowning. I've sunk a ship that had snakes on it and they sat about 10 feet under water for quite a while with no ill effects.
The likelier scenario is they died from cannonfire or they just had empty cages on board.
