I love searching through game worlds for all the little bits developers didn't even know they added, and in doing that with Sea of Thieves I discovered a way to jump onto the roof of one of the outpost buildings that's nearly impossible to discover accidentally. So I got some loot together (including a Grog Chest) along with a single snake to make noise and attract attention, put all of it up on the roof, and hid out of sight, waiting for other players to show up. When two finally did I quietly watched them to see what they would do, until one of them asked if anyone was around. I said I had made up a little game, if they could get up on the roof without using cannons, all the chests would be theirs. It took them a few minutes, and a couple minor hints, but they found their way up to claim the prize.
This Loot Hide and Seek "minigame" was an idea I had a while back when I first discovered a way onto the roof, and it was fun to finally see it pay off.... so to speak ;) I will probably do this again from time to time, especially since my first two "contestants" had fun and won the game fairly quickly. I also hope this tale sparks some creativity among other players for new and interesting ways to interact with one another. Thanks for reading!
