Chest falling off ships

So chests fall off ships easier than cutting through melted butter. do the game developers realize that this Narrows down being able to hide your treasure which is kind of important for when people just randomly jump on your ship I mean there's a lot of trolls in this game I think more than the game developers are even aware of and the fact that chests can just now fall off ships at random pretty much narrows it for down for greifers, especially on a Sloop and lets people know where to search right away. I mean come in this is a little rediculous.
