Thanks to the Admiral Galleon at Keel Haul Fort!

  • So I was being chased by a two man sloop, whilst I myself was on my own. We had a scuffle earlier but I'd run out of cannonballs and having noticed that one of them had jumped ship, I took my opportunity to scarper.

But they gave chase. I had to come up with a plan because with the two of them and their extended ability to patch holes, shoot, steer and angle sails I realised I was probably outmatched and the only way I could win this campaign was with wits.

    I saw it.
The Skull Cloud in the sky.
This was my chance. Either the skeletons there would sink them or I might come across a few amiable sorts able to stick a foot in the door on my way to the Ferry Of The Damned.
And to my luck, there was an Admiral Galleon docked there. I tacked around the island in a curve, knowing they'd spot this and take the shortcut past the Galleon to get me. I was right.
A hefty broadside from the Galleon.
But my Pursuing Duo were still on my tail.
    Damn.
I plotted a course past an outpost to drop of my second most valuable skull. Since I'd already cashed in my first early into the chase.
I took a look behind me.
    Lo and behold.
    That sloop was sinking.
I saw their Bowsprit drop below the waves and turned on my keel to find whatever they may have had.

Long story short. You saved this Lone Corsair's rear end, thank you noble crew! Next I see you, I shall share a grog and I owe you a Seafarers Chest, though if your Fort was a success then I suppose you're all rich men by now.
