    Console running 4k @ 60? LOL

why not? you need to understand Console != PC ... we don't have Windows, we dont need 4 GB Ram for the Operation-System

OS family Hyper-V and Windows 10 based Xbox OS

Memory Original and S model: 8 GB DDR3 (5 GB available to games)
X model: 12 GB GDDR5 (9 GB available to games)

right BASED! just because FreeBSD is based on Unix its not a Unix...

  • @xixxo123 yes and those people are playing with lower settings and sure as hell aren't at 4k. once you start trying to game in 4k the hardware requirements take a massive jump, add another jump once you add HDR into the mix. todays consoles will NEVER be able to run 60fps 4k HDR without sacrificing somewhere. PC while not usually as optimized can simply throw brute force at it as long as you can afford the hardware.

yes of course most players are on xbox, it's a FAR bigger platform and always will be. this game in particular will also have less PC players because windows 10 is required and many PC gamers are still clinging to windows 7. there's also a lot out there that ignore anything not on Steam

Again, i have never stated that the xbox one x could or should have 4k60...

The one x is comparable to a 1060 or a rx580 performance wise, although console optimisation allows it to perform better than those GPU's..

The 1060 can handle Sea of thieves at a steady 60+ fps (mainly around 80-90) at 1080p..

Its not a question of if the one x could handle 1080p60, it can..

this is probably why they stopped making sea of thieves 3% in

when ever the developers and publishers have any ties to Sony or Microsoft for consoles they utterly destroy visuals and content and the game it self to fit it on essentially a toaster oven or rotten potato

when a games created from developers and publishers on computers instead of consoles they can set the requirements and visuals to anything they desire because it doesn't have to fit on the meager 5GB system memory you have for video games etc

    consoles in a nutshell

no one park here because consoles will never make it otherwise
