Chests don’t float after being sunk.

  • Got sunk today with a bunch of chests and gun powder berrals. The berrals disappeared, the chests were underwater and not able to be retrieved. Chicken coops floated to the surface though.

Very annoying to loose a buch of loot to a game glitch. Not to mention what if you sunk another pirate with loot and were not able to recover the plunder.

  • I have seen this once. It also wouldn't let me pick up the chest on the sea floor.

Not a glitch, after 3 minutes of no interaction the chests will sink, upon reaching a certain depth they will be considered lost at sea.

  • @rattlyfob There is a glitch where the ship sinks and they dont float to the surface and are not interactable.

This happened to me yesterday for the second time. I sunk another players ship just to find out that the captains chest they had got stuck underwater on their invisible ship. I sent a video in on this already of a previous time it happened. Has only happened to me twice now.
    EDIT:
I'll just add that video i sent in so yall can see too.

  • You can open a support ticket for that one

  • @vderickv yep. That’s exactly what happened for me. It has happened to every ship I’ve seen sunk with treasure on it. Animal cages and some gun powder barrels are the only things that seem to work properly.
