CROSSPLAY FOREVER!!!

I love the crossplay. Made a lot of PC friends and I do not want to lose them

@rainbowspace770 Because primarily i would play with it off yet if i wanted to pkay with a friend on the PC then i could and deal with the consequences.

And this whole "Split the playerbase" argument is litrally got no basis or substance to it what so ever. Firstly, if the game launched without cross platform there would still be populated servers on both sides. Secondly you have about 20-24 players per server so theres hardly going to be empty servers either way. And thirdly this isnt call of duty you dont need persistent players in front of you at all times, nor is it an mmo where you have mega servers and need 1000s of people in one place.

@mad-ragga-luke no one said to remove it. We want it OPTIONAL. Go ahead and play vs PC if you want but let others who want fair chances get paired with xbox folks only.

You are delusional. Let me help you:

• on pc you can hear GAME CHAT and PARTY CHAT at the same time. This is a huge advantage. It let's you hear other groups while they can't hear you

• PC has a huge advantage when it comes to situational awareness. You can rotate and look around so quick that you can basically board the enemy ship and visually cover all directions. No one will surprise you.
• PC has a huge combat advantage because of M&K. I don't need to explain, no question here. Stop lying to yourself.
• PC has a huge load time advantage. On PC I respawn and teleport via mermaid MUCH faster than my crewmates that play on XBOX. This can be crucial when saving a ship from sinking.
• PC has FPS advantage. Even on a weak PC you can pull down the details to get smooth 60 fps. Devs decided to not give us that option on Xbox One X which EASILY can pull it off. Many more demanding games have proven it.
• You can cheat on PC and what's worst, you can use cheats that are undetectable, like ship and treasure locations etc. I wonder why all those players that boast having 200000000 million worth chests on a ship for an entire day are always on PC. I can't have 10 minutes on the sea without someone chasing me.
• PC players use macros. Aim with a sniper rifle, macro to the pistol. In a split second, you have 2 shots. You can do it with anything else
• For some reason, most PC players have better PING. I've tested it on my xbox and pc. On PC I have usually around 32 ping. On Xbox it's 86 average.

Want me to go on or this is enough?
To sum it up, cross-play should be optional. You're still free to play against PC but don't force your decisions on others.

The only reason I currently play on PC is because of the advantages above. The moment they'll add cross-play as an option I'm going back to xbox.

@mad-ragga-luke Purley for balance concerns and piece of mind. Ultimately Rare has failed to prove the game is played on an even playing field. I personally feel that if you can instantly tell what platform a player is on by the way they move ect then there is balance issues.

Rare also stated many times that they are trying to build the game for everyone, currently for alot of console players it feels like they are being hung out to dry so they can push there New Cross platform agenda.

While i personally am not against it, power to them. But if they cant reassure community concerns about issues or even acknoledge them, then they shouldnt be doing it. Games like Fortnite and Rocket league have done it in such a way it works for everyone. All because you have a choice.

60 FPS? OH NO! I CAN SEE MORE THAN 30 FRAMES A SECOND! Its not like this is a super high intense game like CSGO or something like that because its super duper competitive, this is buckaroo, get used to it, 30 fps is just as good as 60 fps in this game.
Hacks? On PC Only? ...Explain the modded lobby in cod ON THE XBOX then buddy. Shh....pc isnt the only system around with hacks. The only hack I know of is the dumb wall hack...which is just a dumb GPS system as far as I can tell if its even legit.
MACROS? Your telling me...I can bind the buttons on my controller to any button i see fit to help me perform better?
I cant press right trigger than press y to press the right trigger again as fast as your macro can? Give me a break, I play halo, pressing my thumbstick spamming y and RT is a pastime for me. Macros are not very useful in this game, yet again not competitive.
BETTER PING? slap that Ethernet cord in your xbox...bam done...just thats sorta brain dead easy fix to that.
Cross play optional? Splitting the player base, based on some dumb stereotypical believe based on high octane games that require more speed and focus than a c*****e addict has when he does a line. This is NOT need for speed shoot em up bomb plating simulator 2018 baby, this is sailing wooden ships in my bathtub simulator 2018!

You can't be serious...did you even play on a controller? Even at max sensitivity is SUPER SLOW, not even half of the sensitivity of the one in Halo.
Hearing both chats is not a big advantage? I could go sneak on enemy ship, listen to what enemies are talking about and talk to my crew and plan an attack without being heard. That's not an advantage??? You can't do that on a console. Did you even understand what I wrote? Switching to game chat on Xbox does nothing more than hearing and being heard in the game. If your PC is loading slower than the Xbox, you must be having a 20 years old microwave for a PC. I've played SoT on Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox one X, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (which is pretty damn slow) and a gaming PC. Even my surface which is basically a tablet loads the game faster than Xbox. Xbox One X performs a little better than standard Xbox.
COD modded lobbies? IT's A GAME EXPLOIT NOT A CHEAT. It's a freaking bug. You know what? I give up. I feel like I'm talking to a child. Your points make no sense whatsoever.

Blaming crossplay for being bested in combat is nothing more than a coping mechanism.

Remove it and the same complaints will remain.

Those that cannot adapt and overcome will find any excuse to rationalize and justify their poor performance.

Stick to your vision rare, I'm loving this game.
