How is captain selected?

    Hi,

    We are all battling for gold to customise our ships. Whenever I play with friends, I am never captain!

    How can I guarantee that I am captain so that my ship customisation is used.
    Guess what I’m asking is how a captain is assigned in the game?

    Sorry if this has already been discussed in the forum but I couldn’t find anything.

    Captain doesnt matter for anything, as far as i can tell. Everyone can add customizations to the ship, which is a nice touch. For example you can change the sails and your friend can change the paint... ect. It doesnt matter who the captain is

    There is no captain role.

    The ship can be customized by all crewmembers, no one is the boss.

    The only boss in this game is cosmetics, and they didnt pay attention in class.

    Like the other posters said, there isn't really an assigned captain role. A crew can fight over what to put on a ship until it's too far away from the island for anyone to customize it anymore.

    Yeah Captain is not selected, so if you want to be Captain just tell them, also if you are on the Crew Setup before going into a server the Anchor you see is not who is Captain its who is party leader
