kraken body

@roughleech03117 currently if you glitch the water you see the tentacles are not attached to anything, therefore there currently is no physical body.

At one point during a Kraken battle, I was thrown from the ship just as the fight was ending, and when I hit the water and sank, I could see a large, pure black sphere underwater, presumably containing the ink and tentacles we see up close during the fight itself.
The Kraken then despawned a second or two later.

While I'd love for the Kraken to take on a body, currently it seems most evident it's nothing but tentacles and ink.

It has everything to do with your point. You state a belief that the Kraken does in fact currently possess a body, but it's obscured by the black ink. @Pasha-Entreri states that if you engage a glitch, you can circumvent the developers intended visual limitation, I.E. the ink, to in fact confirm that there is no body.
