Cannon cove still a nightmare

  • Now that the skeletons spawn there, they spawn deep in a cave where you can barely see, and you can't lure them out to use cannons at all. We did a 2 person mission there and every single wave was metal ones with pistols. It took us about an hour and we got 2 foul skulls one and 2 disgraced. What a fun game... Rank 36 in order of souls at this rate doing voyages it will take probably around 1-2 years to hit 50.

Blunderbuss' getting nerfed made killing metal skeletons even more of a nightmare. And the nerf to forts spawning hurt gaining rep by a ton. With such little rewards the game came to a screeching halt.

  • @irhcsajr I was very disappointed to read that blunder got nerfed. I thought it was fine.

They need to increase weapon damage to skeletons by about 70% more.

Blunderbuss now does 90% of it's normal damage so it takes 2 shots on a wet metal skeleton to kill them instead of 1. If they use banana's it can take over 5 shots which is impossible to do when you have 5 metal ones with pistols auto aiming you and never missing.

  • They nerfed the blunderbuss because people herp derpishly run into melee range to fight a fool with a blunderbuss. Someone is going to get one shot and the other will be salty over it.

    RIP blunderbuss.

  • Normally I'm all for nerfing OP stuff but in this case I don't think the blunderbuss was OP as much as the Eye of Reach is useless. Glad they buffed Eye of Reach but blunderbuss wasn't that broken. I miss the one shots with that all the time even from very close and aiming down sights at their torso.

I really think the problem was people running blunderbuss + flintlock. As much as people wouldn't like it, perhaps they should have considered locking sword in slot 1 at all times?
