Pc Xbox app notfication bug

I am there with you, and spent some time yesterday trying to fix it. I also logged out of xbox and my ios app. No change... but here is what I checked/changed:

In the xbox app, go to notifications, make sure the ones you want are checked.

In the xbox app, settings, change the notification duration setting to 5 seconds or more instead of system setting.

Also make sure you're not in "quiet" mode to limit notifications, it's on the Action Center on bottom right

Windows 10 Settings - Privacy - Background Apps and check if the Xbox App is allowed.

Windows 10 Settings - System - Notifications and Actions and check if the Xbox App is allowed to send notifications

I then finally got 1 popup during SoT.. not from joining group or invites, but of.. getting an achievement unlocked.

One thing that I still want to check is if I disable "game mode" (windows + G for the dvr/broadcast game overlay) if that matters at all.

As pc, I am the one that always has to invite the xbox people because they get the on screen notification, my phone does, but not windows.

One other thing to do, perhaps, try downloading the xbox beta app and use that.
It is what I used after this, but not for this reason.

So it may just be the regular version works too now, or it took the beta to work.

Your UAC still on?
Do you have anything else "overlay" on the screen?

(I have shadowplay icons always on over the screen)
