GIVE ME MONKEYS and other animals...

    I think an addition of more animals on island can help make the world more alive and also beef up the merchants alliance voyages with more animals.

    Monkeys I feel can be a great addition into the game as they can swing in trees and be annoying by throwing coconuts at pirates. How to catch them? I have two options; lure them with a banana and trap them, or just straight up pop them with a flintlock pistol while swinging in the trees.

    Of course other animals such as crabs or lobsters can be a great addition. What do you guys think? Any other animals you guys can think of? They dont have to land based like fishes or parokeets.

    As a side note, what are you guys' thoughts on fishing? Should it connect to the merchants alliance, be its own thing like a crafting mechanic, or be part of another reputation faction like "The Scurvy Anglers" or some c**p like that.

    Pets: Monkeys, cats, lizards/iguana, parrots, dogs, falcons, toucans and lemurs.

    Other animals in the world possibly tradeable or at least dangerous...

    Boars, turtles, gator/crocodiles, dolphins, stingrays, jelly fish, crabs, lobsters, whales including orca, different types of sharks... white, tiger, hammerhead. Giant squid, octopus, electric eels. Python, spiders and bats in caves... army ants. Poision frogs, leopards, and everyones favorite ocelot!

    Possible for fishing trade:
    Turtles, tuna, sailfish, other general types of fish. Whales, sharks, octopus, crabs and lobster

    Great suggestions all around, didn't expect ants to be a idea. It would be hilarious for a pirate to dig up a chest and accidentally disturbed a nest of fire ants. Spiders and insects is a great idea too! I can see spiders being annoying when it shoots its web at players or around the ship, making the area slower to maneuver.

    I like the your ideas on fish too. I think fish should be regional. For example tuna can be found at the badlands part of the world while turtles or clownfish can only be spotted in the wilds region. How would the whale be featured? It can be cool for the fishing vendor to give you harpoons to throw at the whale or or as ammunition for the cannons instead of cannonballs.

    It's a really good idea , we already have sounds likes we facing danger on islands but there nothing...and it's very fustrating =)

    BUT there are many problem to make this : animals defense organizations : it's difficult for a game that make animals like monkeys and others protected animals get caged : /
