Some people want more crew mates on a sloop or a different 1 man boat. In my opinion on all of this I believe a third boat would be perfect to keep it all balanced.
Making this third boat still balanced for pvp issues is easier than you think. The reason for not being able to do a 1 man gallon or even 2 man gallon is because there’s to much going on with the number of sails the weight of the anchor the size of the ship for repairs. By putting more than enough people on a boat and to have them standing around doing nothing would make it very over powered that’s why I do not agree with a 3 man or 4 man sloop. That’s why sloops use 1-2 people and the gallon uses 3-4 the third boat will hold 2-3
Third boat details
• This boat will have two sets of sails too control ( gallon has 3, sloop has 1 )
•It will have two cannons on each side
( gallon has 4, sloop has 1 )
• The sails and anchor will be on mid deck of ship to control ( like the gallon )
•only two cannon barrels ( like the sloop)
•map under deck (like the gallon)
In this case with everything going on with the boat it’s very possible to control with two players but best with three and In this case 4 people on this boat would be two much because it’s basically a simpler version of a gallon and is why a gallon is best with 4.
My idea might not be perfect and could probably use some tweaking here and there but overall I think it’s a better idea than increasing a sloop size please get this around and I hope rare sees this
