Something needs to be changed or people will leave.

    There either needs to be player own servers so you can lock and only invite friends to the game 100 players Like ARK, and there needs to be a change in who can kill who in the server and outposts need to be completely safe once you reach the distance of it. and if anyone cashes your loot they get nothing.

    once you hit the island pop Text. all the loot on the boat becomes binded to you no one else can get the points if they steal anything while docked/on the outpost.

    I'm sick of 4 player ships chasing people down and killing them while they are in sloops it makes 0 sense. and with the recent hackers flooding the game from pc since it's so easy I'm done with the game, for now, the trial was nice, but I'm not buying the game.

    if I'm in a solo sloop, I should only be facing Solo Sloops, not Duo and 4 people at once this needs to be changed so big ships are only on 4 man servers and Duo/3 are on their own as well and 3 man ship should be a sloop, not a big stupid one. again there needs to be changed if these are not done people are quitting, and since that guy who asked people to boost himself, the 50 50 50 makes matters worse.

    @jmgoodog11 one area of the game should be PVE, kinda like how Runescape does it, or toggle to turn on/off pvp with a cooldown of 30 minutes to an hour Between so you can't abuse it and skull forts need to be more frequent, and people who kill the boss and unlock the door can only pick up the key or loot,

    Now to stop mass killing only when ships leave the island they take damage, to stop people from destroying beached ships.

    if ships have the skull fort loot, when they fully leave the island they would have a pvp skull letting other ships know they have the loot and only when you kill them, it then becomes the peoples loot who killed them, once you reach an outpost no one can get it since it would be a binding of Ship/player and pvp would then be flagged off, once you get the pop text.

    @jmgoodog11 The game isn't a PvE exclusive game. It's designed to be fun yet challenging in a PvP world. Perhaps this isn't the game for you.

    @admiral-tweedle what I'm saying is only if you attack ships you get Skulled/pvp flaged, and can be attacked, if you ever played runescape that would be the best option everything is safe until you go to the wilderness and look millions of people played it for years.

    I disagree- i like the tension you currently feel in the game knowing there could be pirates attacking you at any moment. Key is just to always keep an eye out. If you are in a sloop even as a solo player nobody can catch you if you sail properly. If a Galleon is chasing you just sail into the wind, maybe sail closely around an island and they wont catch you. Even if another 2 man sloop chases you they wont be able to catch you aslong as you just keep sailing away properly. So as i said as long as you keep a watchfull eye out you should be just fine.

    @kyuurix nah, there needs to be a change, new players are quitting. I get people want pvp all the time, but it gets old, some people just want to go around and get levels and skills in peace. I played runescape for 15 years because it was peaceful game. runescape was a success at 5$ per month and this game is 70$ Cad

    @jmgoodog11 This isn't a "safe" world. It's a PvP world where pirates can be pirates. You choose to sail solo or with a group. You choose to take risks or play it safe.

    I would freakin' hate the idea that there are safe zones. This is a PvP game. This aspect brings the tension and keeps it (in my eyes) interesting still, despite the lack of content.

    You have several options:

    1. Keep your eyes open and scout an outpost before turning in loot.
    2. Turn in loot more frequently.
    3. Find yourself some mates and sail a galleon crew.

    I'm sure, when you are on the winning side and sink a sloop with chests on it you would have a good time aswel.

    That is how this game is designed. And honestly, everyone that screams for safe zones and PvE servers should reconsider playing this game.

    @admiral-tweedle I'm not saying the game is Bad, over the years, Rare has made great games, but this one will flop, I'm sorry but it was good for 10 days, not 10 years. I think I played ark longer then this. I'm level 31 Gold 29 Skulls 20 Skills, I can do combat just it's not worth the hassle when you just have time to loot and run instead you spend 20 hours running from people who won't let up.

    @morbidss again the people who play the game stand around and do nothing, so finding "Mates" makes no difference, I had people just join stand around just for the turning in of loot.

    I actually don't see newplayers quitting as you said... As @Kyuurix said, if you want perfect peace, maybe the game really isn't for you.

    @jmgoodog11 You're trying to determine the game's longevity without a single content patch or direction from the devs (which they said they would give). I don't presume to know the future of the game, but I feel your 10 days vs 10 years isn't realistic, just as running from someone for 20 hours isn't realistic either.

    @admiral-tweedle I was doing a skull fort for 10 hours straight, sinking loads of ships trying to get it, I have played the game enough, to know that the pvp system needs to be changed, I have been playing video games, since I was 5 now 25, and this game is getting old quick No new content would keep me playing it any longer I'm sorry, they make great games, it's a great game but it's not holding me here Like Conker's bad fur day or donkey kong, banjo kazooie/tooie does/did.

    No one is keeping you here in cuffs. If you want to leave sure go for it, it's not like you bought the game. The game just released if you are expecting new content every week good luck buddy. I rather wait so they make the new content better and improve more.

    The game is made to be pvp. Look at it this way your grinding down on voyages safely. How hard are the voyages I mean really how hard are they. The challenge to the game is the the pvp part. It seems to me that everyone is so mad at a poorly played chess game. Instead of saying I played that piece wrong they just want to blame the chess board and say its broken. Now the hacking part they need to fix.

    I agree 100% but this is advertised as a solo game but no way can you play solo, with any amount of fun,
    I keep hearing just find people to play with but the is not he definition of solo. And why would anyone buy a game expecting the odds would be 4 against you if one.
    And they have been playing for a long time and I played for 20 minutes with only 6 bananas . Heck would have gave them the bananas.
    So within 20 minutes attacked and respawn attacked again 2 more times.
    PvP should be separate server 1v1 or 4v4 or free for all .
    Would you play if every batter was 4 in a Gallon vs a sloop. This is beyond challenging
    It is pointless they need to keep it PvP and remove solo

    @mr-logboy I hate playing with randoms because they usually want to grief or be unproductive. I enjoy solo or 2 man groups. In a 4 man team, I feel the greatest challenge is equivalent to herding cats.

    @roxicaro I have had a Number of new players join saying they just bought it and they hate it, and they say it should be worth 30$ in my opinion the game is worth 70$ but the pvp SYSTEM is terrible.

    Like I have mentioned before, the balance needs to be 50/50, there has to be risk/reward for both PVP and PVE players, there should be a player kill system that flags players that attack non PK flagged players.

    The system would be as follows,

    A pirate attacks an "innocent" player and kills him, he gets flagged as a player killer (PKer) this means that from that point anyone can attack him without receiving that tag himself since that player is a murderer, the "Murderer" tag will eventually go away if that player stops murdering but he can just continue to be a villain if he wants.

    In this system, players can drop money if killed, so that is the advantage of being a player killer, the disadvantage is that the player killer will be attacked by strong NPC's in the outposts, making it near enough impossible to step into an outpost, this due to the fact that he is a murderer. Player killers will also drop a larger amount of gold if killed.

    The advantage to PVErs is that they can feel safe in the knowledge that players are less likely to attack them, and if they do then they can have a chance of killing the "Murderer" and take a large portion of his gold.

    The game is an always on PVP game.. its designed that way, the pve is designed to be short and simple, everything of value is a physical object that can be stolen and has to be turned in. Its not runescape.

    But I might be different then most as I solo only and think they need to remove it in the game as more want PvP . Again lots of other stuff just love pirates game like Sid Myers pirates.
    Maybe another company will make a pirate game I like. At least I will not be bugging others and affecting their gaming experence

    I too encounter unproductive or griefing players. Rather play with my friends. But when they're offline and I feel taking the seas I'll just switch a few servers ' till I find players that want to properly play the game. Most of the time, when you play serious others will follow your example.
    Just be out there, talk, use your mic. You will eventually meet a player that you're gonna have a good time with. Add them to your friends and sail together once again.

    This game is far more enjoyable when playing with others, rather than alone.

    hate to see you go, but I don't think this is a good game for solo pve servers.
    I mean its beautiful game, but the real fun right now, is to play with other players.

    Just join up with a "friend" i meet in game, he was doing a fort, there was a galleon there, an because i play on pc, I can talk in party chat an world chat.
    So I negotiate with them an manage to get the Stronghold an a marauder chest.
    I only had 30min to play, so didn't have time for betrayal or fighting for the fort.
    They could have killed or sunk us at any time.

    im lvl 43, 42, 38. an don't really grind. Im just having fun with me "Main" crew.
    an im sorry if some of my fun is ruin yours, but many says it's a pvp game or PvPvE, But Rares Deception: shared adventure world

    I like this game as it is, an don't really want any changes, other than some small fix here an there.

    It's never been advertised as a solo game and even when you pick solo on the menu the game tells you it's the hardest mode to play... I play solo all the time for fun and all you need to do to avoid people is literally just look around.

    The game was always developed to be both PvP and pve simultaneously. An open world where you play how you choose. But much like life you have options. If someone is hounding you do you sit there and take it? give them what they Want? Fight back?

    What's better is that they don't have any advantage over you besides maybe numbers but that can be mitigated by wit and personal skill depending on the opponent.

    There will be times you get outplayed by a better crew, but majority of people complaining about it right now aren't simply getting outplayed, they're ALLOWING themselves to be outplayed. Learn to be observant and keep looking around at all times and this game becomes a breeze even for solo.

    This game isn't about productivity... all you can earn is cosmetics and.. after being out 2 weeks its far more important that people just learn how to sail, learn how to deal with other players, and focus on just having fun instead of being "productive".

    If you want to be productive, find a job.

    I don't understand why so many people have issues with solo. I do it all the time and don't have problems. And just go on a 4 person galleon and cycle through them till you get a decent crew. And befriend the ones that are on the same page. It's not that hard

    Ofcourse it isn't about productivity, literally.
    It's what you describe. Know how to sail, gather supplies etc.

    @crash4654 agree with that, cant say how many sloops that tries to outrun us, an im trying to make them turn so we both get the wind in our sails, an when they do.
    I usual saying: An it was in this moment, he knew, he F** up*

    But if the sloop was smart. just go against the wind. an i would give up the chase.

    I stop playing Sloop Duo, because in my Mind, The sloop is way more
    superior than the Galleon

    @greencamillion1 don't give to many tips away cause I got lots that I figured out on my own lol. It's there fault for not being strategic on there planning or common sense saying I got 1 sail they got 3...... Full sail with the wind lol
