The progression of the Gold Hoarders is fairly broken. Riddle quests are harder than X marks the spot maps and they're meant to be because they unlock later instead of being immediately available. Additionally, they get more complex the higher level the voyage. However, at higher levels they're not worth the time to do. An X marks the spot map can have up to 5 or 6 chests easily marked on a single island. A riddle quest takes longer than digging up those 5 chests and rewards one chest. The quality of the chests currently appears to be completely random. This means that you might as well just do the X maps and skip the riddles and then cancel the voyage, because they're not worth the time investment comparatively.
This needs to be rebalanced. Riddle quests are more fun and more engaging and yet they're less rewarding and this is bad design. They should be as rewarding or more rewarding and currently they aren't. There should either be a way to work multiple chests into the riddles or the riddles should guarantee higher quality chests. Possibly both.
