When I either spawn in from dying or log into the game for the first time of the day my weapons are never the same and I have to constantly change them back to what ever I logged out with? Same goes with the version of shotgun I have If i have my skin shotgun on everyone once in a while it will switch to the regular one and I have to go back and reequip my skin. Anyone else?

Yeah I spawn with a sword & sniper every time have to swap to blunderbuss that only happens thou when I first join a server I can die many ties after that and it's fine
@elexio yeah it always defaults to something, then the default changes every now and again. ATM i keep starting with blunderbuss in slot one and pistol in slot 2

I always start with pistol and sniper. Sometimes they even reset upon starting a new voyage.
My current load out I have been spawning with is Black Dog Cutlass & Admiral blunderbuss. Luckily at this stage I only have to change out the blunderbuss for the eye of reach, but I reckon it will probably change again soon. The skin on my eye of reach changes back to default often as well.
Whilst it is a little frustrating, it isn't really a big deal in my opinion. Hopefully it does eventually gets sorted though, im sure it will.
@Elexio Yes whenever I log in it's not the weapons I logged out with. Also during play sessions my weapon skins constantly change back to default skins. Sometimes they auto change back or I have to manually change them.
@elexio this happens to me every single time i log into the game. it loads me with the sword and blunderbuss, when i always have a pistol with me. Also, the skin of my sword and pistol will randomly change to a different skin that i havent selected

At first it was always cutlass and pistol even though I keep selecting cutlass and blunderbuss.
Then it came good for a short while and I thought they had resolved the issue. Until I changed to pistol and rifle during a kraken attack.
It continued to arm me with pistol and rifle for a few game sessions after that even though I always revert back to cutlass and blunderbuss.
Then I upgraded my stock cutlass for a gold one and it started me off with cutlass and cutlass each time I loaded the game.
Now it starts me off with pistol and blunderbuss. It's like a weapons lottery. lol
I feel it's due to come good again although there are still a lot of combinations I haven't been dealt yet. Here's hoping.

My skins have been defaulting in the middle of things. Random too. Just pull out my sword one second it's gold. the next time I pull it out It's default, then back again.
Needs fixin
@elexio Same here. I guess the recent update fixed the initial problem but produced new ones. Hope they fix it for good in the next update as it is very annoying and inconvenient.
@personalc0ffee @neptuncynic happens exactly the same to me, nothing really game breaking but annoing for sure. Cosmetic is the only way to show your progress so i will like to keep those skins during playing sessions
I had the always sniper and cutlass bug once and I could fix it by actually equiping the sniper and the cutlass and loging off. Next time I started Sea of Thieves I had pistol and cutlass. I know it doesn't make sense but it seems like the game somehow mixes up the item slots when leaving, so by choosing the wrong weapon on purpose before logging off on the next login you get the right weapons.
And then just never change weapons again.
But ofc this is only a theory because just because it worked once for me does not mean it will work for everyone.
Mine have gone from staying how I set them, to having a Blunderbuss and a Pistol, to just the cutlass and currently I recieve a cutlass and a Sniper Rifle. Everytime I log in I have to change them but after that first change its fine until I log out. Not the end of the world but would be nice not to have to check and change every time.

damn, that is my loadout 99% of the time.. can I have your default loadout?
