played this for months on the pc' it's a good game the combat is excellent, But it's a korean mmo so if the grind dosn't kill you and believe me it's a grind, you think doing the same quests over and over in this game is boring wait till you farm the same mobs over and over hours upon hours like i said if the grind don't kill you the the rng will.I was sick of the rng in this game when trying to upgrade things it's a total mess.

Thing is though you don't have to do that you don't have to grind mobs over and over again this game has so much content you can mix it up, currently i'm deep sea diving collecting mats to cook seafood dishes to sell when I feel like grinding I jump on my wizard and go grinding when I feel like farming mats from mobs I do that, when I feel like questing I go quest, when I feel like PVP I go sausans and kill people, when I wanna chill out I go back to my house and I process/cook the mats I have into something worth money...And you know what you don't have to upgrade. I've got a full kit of TRI gear and I've never once upgraded any of that. I save silver from life skilling/grinding/crafting and I buy my own gear already upgraded.
What's there to do in this game? When you dont feel like doing fetch quests? you can go sail the seas and search for other players to bully other than that absolutely NOTHING.
The devs for sea of thieves didn't even bother to give the sea a sea bed, you can't even go diving and see what treasure you can find at the bottom of the deep sea because there is no f*****g bottom you cant even swim there because the devs couldn't be bothered making the graphics they just made it a pit of darkness just like they couldn't be bothered giving the kraken a body..It's the little things like this that make a world of difference they make a game diverse, they immerse you in their world with vibrant sea life coral reefs to explore, huge sea monsters to witness or not they give you an empty sea littered with empty islands and nothing to do.
I've spent 200 pound on the microtranscation store on BDO and i'd happily do it again over spending 10 pound on this trash. its'a 6 pound game that costs 60.

if that is what you want, you were clearly mistaken about sea of thieves. no offense, just plain and simple. enjoy black desert, by all means, but i am done with mmos and i really enjoy sea of thieves because it is different in quite many ways. to each his/her own

Very different games BDO is a nice game the combat is very fun but the grind and RNG is crazy the amount you need to keep grinding just to stand a chance in pvp basically if you didn't start at launch pvp is going to be hard for you... and PVP is the end game for BDO.
The boats and boat combat is not that great too but its a feature that was added much later after launch so the game wasn't really designed for it so they did the best they could.

And it has the most unbalanced open PVP also. By the way, third person sailing on this ocean is way more boring than in SOT since it's all you can do if you want to move. You'll just end up playing it with the auto-path feature while you Alt+Tab. How great.
Sea of thieves would benefit greatly from an auto-path feature maybe they will add that in future so we don't have do this boring s**t all day ourselves.
Infact auto path everything, autopath to treasure as well! my god that would make this game actually playable and not mind numbing you could watch netflix. Make the whole game automated and I will happily grind to legend.

I did like it for about a day and a half then I got bored of the same old boring fetch quests but as a paying customer I'm going to get my 60 quids worth of time from somewhere even if it is s**t posting on the forums.

Sorry I was one of those naively optimistic people I played beta I knew what there was I was just expecting A LOT more for 60 quid l**o, you can say all this bs all you want but that doesn't change the fact its a game with nothing in it.

There's also the most well done and beautiful water and weather system and incredibly great sailing and ship mechanics, for example.

I actually like the weather system so I'll give you that one :P I was actually just thinking to myself the only thing that Black Desert Online would benefit from would be the cool storms from sea of thieves.
@roosterhome You seem to neglect the fact to be even current on the game it requires 100% dedication also the game is liner at best and has pay to win extras regarding pets clothing and even.. underwear.. or how it can literally take you hours of grinding just to gain a level at 50.
If you love the game that much go play it instead of coming here, Runescape has more content than BDO.

You can play the game with no purchases from cash shop for 6 quid with 99% more content then Sea of thieves...Sorry bro but its fact im not making this s**t up you don't got to buy from the MT shop on there just like you wont have to on here but atleast they have the decency to give the players actual content before having the nerve to introduce MT ;)...
