Ahoy fellow pirates!
I just found something out which might be interesting to some of us.
Or at least when you activate codes on accounts that didn't buy the game, but can play the game.
I bought Sea of Thieves on my Windows account (that is not my play account).
I then activated my (insider and Black dog pack) codes on my play account (that's a different account than the one I use for windows)
In game, I don't see my items while on my play account or on my Windows account.
So I opened a support ticket and got a new code for the Black dog Pack because they didn't read my support ticket... :S (I did post back twice to their reactions, explaining it again).
However, since I had been given a second code, I decided to test my theory and add the code to my windows account, and guess what! Yes I saw those items in game now. So I thought, maybe its an install thing, I quit the game, logged out, and logged back in with my game account (which already had the codes activated on them). After getting back into the game, again, no items.
The learnings:
DON'T activate your codes on game accounts that haven't bought SoT, even though you can play with those accounts....
Il go back to crying in a corner of my ship until they can fix it :P
My support ticket is still going strong, but I thought I'd let you all know to not be as stupid as I have been :)
