Cthulhu possibly?

Please rare. We all want Cthulhu. Even the people saying they don't want it really do deep down.

This makes no sense.

We do not need another tentacle behemoth. There are other creatures like a giant shark, giant crab, legendary whale, giant morays, sirens, and a hydra that could be added that would be more diverse gameplay than another tentacle beast. As well as a few flying creatures like a giant eagle and large predatory harpies.

Besides, Cthulhu's head would be the size of a Galleon. Where would you put it?

The problem is Cthulhu's fearsomeness is his psychic abilities and ability to alter perception and generate madness/insanity.

The fact that he is a 100s of meters tall creature that slumbers in the sea and has tentacles on his face is not particularly compelling in of itself. We already have a Kraken that is more directly impactful from the perspective of pirates and seafaring/ships.

Cthulhu would have zero interest in a ship. He would stride to the nearest shore and wipe out humanity.

I really want Cthulhu as well. Him turning the crews mad could be a fun mechanic! The more I think about it the more I like it!
