After installing some may get this 0x80070005 error. IF you get this go to your task manager [ctrl + alt + delete] then click the tab on the upper left that says "Start Up" . Disable EVERYTHING on this screen and close out of task manager. restart your PC. Search Sea of Thieves in the start bar. the game should launch no issue. go back to your task manager and re-enable everything and your should have an issue. Hope this helps yall mateys

@el-espectro-0 TBH I have no idea why but it did it on my machine then on a friends. did the same trick for him and it worked too
@crunch-911-bsn Just out of curiosity, on my pc I have "Windows Defender notification" disabled (in the task manager).
If you have it too, do you remember if it was enabled when you deactivated everything?
@crunch-911-bsn Well, that is the only difference I see with my PC since I have it always disabled.
