So why can't we invite someone into our crew in game? I mean I understand if you have a full crew of four but I really think that more folks would at least attempt co-operation a bit more if there was an easy way to invite someone into your crew without leaving game. As of now everyone I see is seen as just a threat. where as if I could invite someone to my crew or join their crew I think we'd see quite a bit more cooperation. Rare has made it really easy to fight, but could they maybe make it a bit easier for us to work together?
Crew invites in game
@a-living-pirate Me and pirate play a lot. When we do he always has to exit to the main menu and start again. This is so infuriating. But, I guess it would be a little bs if your fighting a one man and boop there's 2. lol
I actually joined another crew today. Here's the brief story.
I was trying to do some skull missions solo when another sloop came up and sunk me before I could even begin my journey. I respawn, go back, and the sloop was still there. We battled a little, and eventually I sailed to an outpost where there was a galleon. I scuttled my ship, snuck aboard theirs, and told them I was friendly. We "made friends", and after a while I asked if I could join his crew. He agreed, and I simply joined his game form the xbox friends menu. I did have to leave game, so seamless joining would be pretty cool, but I did exactly what you are describing! We had a blast playing!!
@lucid-now see that's awesome. I just think that if it was easier to do that there would be a lot more cooperative player interaction. Right now it's too much of a hassle for most folks to even bother trying. Not to mention that you may not necessarily want to become xbox buddies you may just want to pick up an extra crewmate for the day here and there and not have to go a purge your xbox friends once a month just to clear out all the folks you don't really want to keep tabs on
