    That worked for me on Wednesday. Yesterday, on the other hand, no matter how many times I died or logged out and back in, I was stuck with one weapon.

    It may help to make sure you equip the pistol in slot one when trying the death workaround. I've only ever tried it when I had just my sword selected so I don't know if it works, but I've heard of some people having success when they swapped the sword for the blunderbuss. Rare are aware of the issue and it should be fixed in a patch next week.

    Can confirm, hasn't happened to me but a friend I play with has this happen to him all the time.

    Workaround this is:
    1.) go to weapons locker (on ship or outpost, at the weapons vendor)
    2.) choose the second weapon in it, so you see two equiped
    3.) now you can either:
    a. kill yourself
    b. use the mermaid
    c. buy anything, including voyages
    d. dig up a chest, pick it up and drop it

    4.) you can now switch between your weapons normally, even swap them out for others.

    It refuses to let me get both of my weapons it will only give you either A sword or a pistol, but never both
    .

    someone mentioned before, that he can't even select two weapons in the locker, like the second slot is greyed out. I haven't seen that one before, so no idea how to fix that. but Rare is aware of this and it should be fixed in the next patch coming next week.

    This happens to me constantly usually if i keep my Skinned Sword out. It tries to register having both swords equipped, usually to fix it I just put on the sniper and then relog over and over till its fixed.

    @apocacide i think the guy who said it, couldn't even get the second one selected, that's why the fix didn't work for him, but i might wrong honestly, or we didn't understand each other. either way i hope it'll get fixed, it's a bit annoying since i have this everytime i login.

    you have to slot a second weapon, it won't go in slot 2, but across the top in the menu it will show two as green, then die and respawn, works every time for me

    I get this bug all the time and what he wrote above fixed it for me everytime.

    Yeah that just happened to me today. I just bought an upgrade for the sword yesterday. Now its bugged.

    Hello All!

    Here is my solution AFTER the update took effect.

    This still happened and shutting the game down did not work for me even after 7 tries.
    This is what I did.
    I went to my ship and tried to swap weapons. Then I tried to swap. Nothing. Then I reequipped my sword and blunderbuss, making sure that there was a weapon in each slot.

    it worked. What I think happens is the game doesn't equip two weapons unless you tell it to move the new weapon to the empty slot, it just changes the one equipped weapon.
