Hi I’m here to say that we spent 5 hours clearing this stronghold because other ships would not go away so then 3 hours into it we finished it and got the skull but they were still chasing us so we hid a dude on a island with it and they chased us for 2 hours before we went off the map to make it look like we went down with the key then we Respawn but and as we were half way to the island were we dropped our mate off the server said 10 minutes until server shutdown so we tried to hurry we got but only had 5 left so we got back to island and as we had the key server had shut down I am so angry right now so Rare can u plz help us with this????
The server shut down is annoying and only said will shut down in 10 minutes
I think with all the servers going down just when ever and people loosing stuff to server going down or those that see that server going down in X minutes and head to an outpost and just circle it waiting for people to try and rush in to turn in before server goes down. It is time for Rare to compensate for the losses like so many other games do "sorry for the inconvenience of our server down time here is some in game currency." or something .
I doubt it would be as big a frustration if
A • Downtime occurred at Known Regularly Scheduled Periods.
For example: Daily 11:00 - 12:00 GMTThis typically is the most convenient Global Time as well as a good time as you can discuss the maintenance that Morning and still have time to resolve issues that crop up in the Afternoon.
B • The Game has Persistence between Sessions. This is the biggest frustration in Sea of Thieves at present (to me) as Inter-Session loss of Side-Quests, Treasure, etc. really makes it difficult to play in short bursts as you just end up feeling like you've just wasted the past hour... especially given it's not uncommon to get involved in getting Hunted by another group making it a little difficult to hand things in immediately.
@mkkatniss98 yeah I know man it’s such bullcrap rare should give us the amount that those chests would be worth
@leyvin I agree with you, it's really annoying to lose bottle maps and quests cause I have to log out or whatever. Once we find the message in a bottle it should be ours til we find it or drop it, not just losing it cause we log out.
