I understand not wanting to have too much UI in the game and I like that aspect, but I've spent ~30 seconds talking to my crew at the end of a voyage, not knowing that they had all left and I was voice chatting to no one. :P
Also, people have had issues with a new player joining their crew and then immediately dumping the loot overboard to troll. Since the game doesn't tell them when a new crewmember has arrived, they had no idea to watch out for this kind of behavior.
Then there's the fun of saying, "Okay, drop the anchor........NOW!", unaware that the crew member who was going to handle that has disconnected. :P
Again, the game informs us when someone acquires or sells loot if we weren't there to see it happen. Could it PLEASE also inform us when our crew roster has changed?
