PC players contantly getting accused of cheating by console players on the forum, so much for community spirit eh?

  • All the posts on the forum at the moment seem to be about Xbox one players wanting cross play with PC players disabling or option to turn off and accusing PC players of hacking and cheating, surely those sort of threads are inflammatory and bad for the so called community spirit, maybe a word from the forum staff would calm things a bit just a suggestion.

  • I question those who complain how they know who plays on what. Many pc players use a controller by preference.
In my experience Crossplay is actually seamless. I've not seen any blatant hacking or cheating.
    But that's just me.

  • At a fort I did kill over and over and over again a crew of 4 during my first boarding. At least 5 times each before they got me. I did offer peace. But they rejected so I kept on killing and sinking them for over an hour with a K/D ratio close to 10.
So I can see why some are being accused and some are accusing xD

This issue has been raised and discussed over and over again.
Experience shows that MOUSE + KEYBOARD will prevail most of the time over CONTROLLER.

The only way to fix this without disabling cross platform is to make CONTROLLER compulsory on PC, or to offer a clear way to play with MOUSE + KEYBOARD on XBOX.

Well from all the YouTube videos I have seen pc basically has every cheat known to man. I don’t really care about it but you can’t say they are wrong. It is fact that the cheating is coming from the pc players. It’s just true.

  • i can live with mouse/keyboard players having an advantage over me. i just need to know something is being done to counter the hacks out there. no, i don't have proof that i've played against a hacking player, but you can't deny that they are out there for any pc player (without a conscience) to purchase.

  • @sillycolt302271 hit it right on the head. There is a reason I choose to play pvp games on a console now instead of PC. First off I am a PC M*********e gamer always. But pc players who decide to download cheats like aimbots, wall hacks...etc. are just plagueing gaming communities now. I play Xbox one now to insure that mods like that will not exist and ruin a great game experience. I like to know if I get completely owned I know it was that I just got out played that time or by a better player and not because of some scrub with a cheat... Sad fact of the matter is all you PC players out there will always be grouped into that category of a PC cheater by a console player.

This is why the Xbox community is calling for a way to disable x-play. The worse part of this is that Rare seems to not even care that this is happening. There is a multitude of examples and proof that these cheats and mods exist. Yet Rare has no real system in place to detect or report these disgraceful PC players. It is sad really.
