I just played on my PC then switched to my XBOX One X and weapon slot 2 is empty and cannot have anything loaded into it :(
BUG: Loss of Weapons post patch
Had a bug where no weapons were available at all, the inventory all of a sudden was limited to planks, cannon balls and bananas.
Buying a map from an npc did the trick for me, it has not occured since then..
Others had similar experiences and solved it with dying or relogging.@cayden-black I think this was an issue they said WAS fixed in the patch :) that is the only reason I posted it :)
I tried went back into the armoury selected the secondary weapon trying to select weapon 2, the left armoury and whent back in and I had both weapons there so it seem it's fixable on the PC and the Xbox though not intuitive?
Also this seems like the loss of items is still there.
@grandalfnaughts one last thing, although I could get the secondary weapon back in the way I described above I cannot change weapon now and was stuck with the weapon selected in the armoury.
Workaround this is:
1.) go to weapons locker (on ship or outpost, at the weapons vendor)
2.) choose the second weapon in it, so you see two equiped
3.) now you can either:
a. kill yourself
b. use the mermaid
c. buy anything, including voyages
d. dig up a chest, pick it up and drop it4.) you can now switch between your weapons normally, even swap them out for others.
