Since the update I have been unable to record Sea of Thieves via Windows 10's DVR. I'm hoping that this is because of the update and not because of my PC. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

It's a product of Nvidia, it basically allows you to start and stop your recording whenever, take screenshots, record last 10 minutes, sets the recording at 1080p, 2k, 4k depending on what you want. I use it for my PC gaming, you need Nvidia GeForce Experience to use it though but it's worth it. Just google Shadowplay nvidia and it should take you to their site.

Does Shadowplay not let you share on the Xbox feed then?
you can go to xbox feed and record your feed with shadowplay but it doesn't share it, its a separate thing than like Xbox Recording
@creativesamurai Well I do hope that helps :) So please tell us if that worked when you got the chance to test it, Maybe I'll test it in the meantime and let you all know as well.

@der-schaduw Worked for me also. but i did have trouble re-installing. had to reboot pc a few times. but YAY, its now working. Hope this help some people out :)
Meant to say that I'd opened a support ticket for it, and they've replied stating they are aware of the issue, and are working on a fix (thus it's apparently "resolved").

Or I could have waited. The issue was fixed in today's patch. It's now working again!

I've used those before (OBS and XSplit) but using mixer is really simple for when a friend just want's to watch me play. Also being able to record a clip when something cool or funny happens is nice.@nextonex the screenshot feature is dire as well, got to bring up the menu then push a button? w*f man it can be over by then.

You just press Win + Alt + Print Screen

I'm not saying it's great but it's very convenient. I'm not streaming for followers, I'm just streaming for friends and it makes it very easy.
I can confirm some definite bugs with Sea of Thieves and Nvidia ShadowPlay on PC. I use ShadowPlay to stream to Tiwtch.tv and it either makes the game unplayable, works for a few minutes or gives a 5000 stream error.
Bug #1 - Sometimes When I hit the Hotkey to bring up the stream overlay for Shadowplay and then go back to the game my character is unable to move. I can mouse look with the mouse, but I get no response from the keyboard like it's not even plugged in. Even though mouse look works the mouse buttons do not respond just like the keyboard. The only way to get out of this is to press CTRL ALT DELETE to bring up the task manager menu to end the task on the game or in some cases that doesn't work and I have to restart. If you do not do this your character is frozen in the game, unable to move, and can only voice chat with your party.
Bug# 2 - Shadowplay works for a minute or two and people can see my stream. Then it always says your stream has been disconnected and for me to check my bitrate setting. I currently have 150MB Download/150MB Upload through Frontier Fiber. So my internet connection is more than fast enough.
Bug# 3 - Shadowplay appears to be working and I can see my video from my camera in the bottom right side of my screen like normal. However, When I get on my laptop and check my stream I get a 5000 error stating, "No content to be displayed on my Twitch Channel.
Bug # 4 - Shadowplay appears to be working and I can see my video from my camera in the bottom right side of my screen like normal. However, When I go to my stream on my laptop I see a whole bunch of weird greenish distorted lines across my Twitch Channel. People are unable to see the stream, but they can hear me through my mic fine.
These 4 issues only effect Sea of Thieves. All other games I have work great with Nvidia Shadowplay streaming and overlays.
