Gents, who here agrees? Athena’s should be a one time find and the crew that should find it will have not only a fortune but a small nod in game. Like a picture up on a tavern wall or something.
Be even better if it could he found by those who are not Pirate Legend and grant automatic legend status.
After Athena’s fortune was found then the devs would bring in a new World Treasure to be found.
Let me know your thoughts on this. Hopefully Rare will read into this as well.
@ximp0sterx agreed, these "World Treasures" Need to be a one time only thing, maybe even make it something you can display on your ship for all to see.
@jack-littleshoe as long as they add additional legendary treasures for players afterward to collect, I'm game for that. "This crew collected Athena's Fortune, while this crew recovered Poseidon's Trident, and this crew collected the skull of the infamous Captain Blackbeard!" and stuff like that.

Oh believe me this isn't my first internet. I did but couldn't find anything pointing to Athena's Fortune being the actual pirate hideout itself. the last I knew is that Athena's Fortune wouldn't even be a part of the game for a long time.

@cwarrick66 you’ll be happy to know that I may be mistaken. All this time I was under the impression that the Athena’s Fortune was simply the ship that the pirate hideout is inside of, but now I may not be so sure, after going back through a few dev videos (just for you honey buns). There’s no guarantee, but maybe this is something we’ll see content built around. Guess we’ll just have to keep grinding to see. So it’s either the name of the hideout, or the next step for the game.
